A white dial gets more effective the bigger it is. The Marathon 46mm OSAR-D Arctic Edition, reference WW194037SS-2501-KIT, spreads Marathon's bright, high-contrast Arctic face across a generous 46mm Swiss automatic dive watch, finished with a stainless steel bracelet.

Marathon designates its white dials "Arctic" because they are designed for legibility in bright light and snow, the conditions where a dark dial reflects glare and disappears. On the large OSAR-D, the effect is striking: oversized geometric indices and broad hands stand out boldly, and the date at 3 o'clock is enlarged further by a 1.5x cyclops. When the sun goes down, MaraGlo lume on the indices, hands and bezel pip takes over. It is a watch you can read instantly on a glacier, a sunny deck or a snow-covered trail.

The 46mm OSAR-D joined the range in 2025 for larger wrists and became the first Marathon SAR model with the Sellita SW600 b, a 24-jewel Swiss automatic with Incabloc and a 62-hour power reserve. The brushed 316L case is 17mm thick and 55mm lug to lug, with 22mm lugs for the bracelet, plus sapphire crystal, a guarded screw-down crown and an oversized bezel you can turn with gloves on. It is water resistant to 300 meters.
