Most automatic watches for smaller wrists are simply shrunken men's designs. The Mido Belluna Royal Lady M024.307.16.046.00 is different: its cushion-shaped case, softly rounded at every corner, was drawn for this size, and the blue guilloche-style sunray dial gives it a jewel-box glow that shifts with the light.

Three diamonds mark 12, 3 and 9 o'clock, adding a discreet flash without crowding the dial, and the date sits at 6 so the layout stays perfectly balanced. Faceted dauphine hands are diamond-cut to throw back light. Like every Belluna, the Royal draws on the graceful lines of London's Royal Albert Hall, and its cushion silhouette is what sets it apart from the round Belluna II.

The engine is Mido's Caliber 80 automatic, visible through a see-through caseback and good for up to 80 hours of power reserve. Water resistance of 50m covers handwashing and rain, and a black leather strap keeps the blue dial front and center.
