The Junghans Force Mega Solar 018/1938.44 is a watch you set once and forget. Solar cells under the black glass dial keep it charged, and the multi-frequency radio receiver pulls the exact time from transmitters in Europe, Japan and the USA. Junghans made the first radio-controlled wristwatch in 1990, and the Force shows how far that idea has come.
The case and bracelet are black ceramic, so it is light, warm to the touch and very hard to scratch. At 40.4mm wide and 8.2mm thin it slides under a cuff, and it weighs about 86 grams. A perpetual calendar and large date mean no manual corrections.
