Marathon is a Canadian company with a Swiss workshop, and the Grey Maple GSAR wears that identity openly. Reference WW194006SS-0309 is the 41mm Large Diver's Automatic in stainless steel with a black dial carrying a grey maple leaf, delivered on a stainless steel bracelet.

The maple leaf is more than decoration. Marathon is a family-owned company founded in 1904 and headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario. Its first military order came from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941, and its search and rescue watches were developed to Canadian Government requirements. A grey leaf against black is a restrained way to honor that history: noticeable up close, without overpowering a dial that has serious work to do.

The rest of the watch is the full GSAR specification: a brushed 316L case rated to 300m, a screw-down crown with guards, sapphire crystal, a 120-click unidirectional bezel and tritium tubes lighting the markers and all hands. A Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic handles timekeeping, and the steel bracelet gives the Grey Maple a sturdy, all-weather finish.
