Sixty years after Oris launched its first dive watch, the Divers Sixty-Five 60th Anniversary Edition goes straight back to the source. This is the most faithful version of the 1965 original Oris has made in the modern era.
The details tell the story. The retro Oris logo returns with the word “waterproof” beneath it, appearing for the first time in the company’s contemporary history. Large luminous numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 are lifted directly from the original dial, the indices are shorter, and “anti-shock” labeling sits at six. The glossy black dial has no date, keeping it pure and symmetrical, and the bidirectional rotating bezel with luminous pip matches the period design.
Reference 01 733 7772 4034-Set uses a 40mm stainless steel case, 12.8mm thick and 46mm lug to lug, with a domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and 100 meters of water resistance. The caseback is engraved to mark the 60th anniversary, and inside is the Oris Calibre 733-1, a Sellita SW 200-1-based automatic with 41 hours of reserve. It comes on a steel bracelet with folding clasp, and an additional black leather strap is supplied in the set.
