No two of these dials are alike, and that is the point. The Oris Aquis Date Upcycle turns discarded PET plastic bottles into a dial with a random, multicolored marbled pattern, so the watch on your wrist is genuinely one of a kind.
The project sits within Oris’s “Change for the Better” program, the brand’s commitment to using its watches to support cleaner oceans and a healthier planet. Recycled flakes are pressed into the dial during production, and because the process cannot be controlled precisely, every Upcycle carries its own mix of colors. It is a fitting idea for a diver, a reminder of what ends up in the water the Aquis was built to explore.
Everything else is uncompromising Aquis. Reference 01 733 7789 4150-07 8 23 04PEB has a 43.5mm multi-piece steel case, a unidirectional bezel with ceramic insert, a screw-in crown and 300 meters of water resistance. The Oris Calibre 733-1 automatic delivers 41 hours of reserve, and the steel bracelet closes with a security folding clasp with extension for wetsuit wear.
