New York Harbor once held so many oysters that they filtered its water. The Oris New York Harbor Limited Edition II exists to help bring them back, and it does so with one of the most striking dials in the current Aquis lineup.

Made for the Billion Oyster Project, which aims to restore one billion live oysters to the harbor by 2035 while involving local schools and communities, this second edition is based on the Aquis Date. Its aqua green mother-of-pearl dial has a shimmering oyster-shell effect that changes from mint to sea glass as you tilt your wrist, and the engraved caseback carries the oyster theme to the back of the watch. Production is limited to 2,000 individually numbered pieces.

The 43.5mm Aquis case is built for real diving, with 300 meters of water resistance and integrated lugs, and it arrives on a green rubber strap with a security folding clasp and extension, plus an additional steel bracelet. Inside is the Oris 733-1 automatic, beating at 4 Hz with a 41-hour reserve.
