The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date in forest green takes its graduated dial from the woods around Hölstein in Switzerland’s Waldenburg Valley, where Oris has been building watches since 1904, and pairs it with one of the most likable retro dive cases on the market.

The Divers Sixty-Five line revives the spirit of an Oris dive watch from 1965, and this 40mm version keeps the domed sapphire crystal, the slim rotating dive bezel and the warm vintage proportions that made the original so appealing. The green fades from a lighter center to a deeper edge, so the dial shifts tone as the light changes, while lumed hands and applied indices keep it readable after dark. Inside is the Oris 733-1 automatic, a Sellita SW 200-1-based calibre with a date, hacking seconds and a 41-hour power reserve.

On its three-link steel bracelet it reads as a sports watch with manners: easy with a T-shirt, sharp under a shirt cuff and tough enough for a swim.
