description
Orange was the signature color of 1970s motorsport and sports graphics, and the 1972 Chronoscope Sports Edition 2026 041/4557.00 wears it with confidence. A black double stripe runs down the matte orange dial, black totalizers add contrast, and the 6 is shaped like a racing start number.
The design recalls the period when Junghans set the standard in sports timing, including the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. A quartz J645.83 chronograph measures to 1/5 of a second, and the 43.3mm cushion case stays a slim 11.3mm. Perforated orange leather nods to driving gloves, and just 200 pieces were made.
