The Tissot PR516 Mechanical Chronograph T149.459.21.051.00 is a love letter to the 1970 PR516 chronograph. It is hand-wound, like the racing watches of that era, so every morning begins with a few turns of the crown, a small ritual that connects you to the movement.
Behind the see-through caseback is a Swiss Valjoux manual-winding chronograph with a 67-hour power reserve and Tissot’s Nivachron balance spring for resistance to magnetism. The black dial carries 30-minute and 12-hour counters, a central seconds hand for timing and a tachymeter on the bezel ring. A glassbox-style sapphire crystal adds a vintage silhouette.
The 41mm steel case is joined to a domed bracelet with quick-release, so you can switch to leather in seconds.
