The ProPilot Date is Oris’s everyday aviation watch: a 41mm steel case with a fluted, turbine-style bezel, applied Arabic numerals and a date at 6 o’clock with a color-matched disc so the dial stays symmetrical. Super-LumiNova on the hands and numerals helps after dark, and a screw-down crown means 100 meters of water resistance, which is plenty for a pilot’s watch you might wear on a beach weekend. At 11.7mm thick and 49mm lug to lug, it sits lower on the wrist than most tool watches of the same diameter.
Turn it over and a see-through window shows the Oris 733-1 automatic, a Sellita SW 200-1-based movement with a 41-hour power reserve. The black leather strap closes with a stainless steel folding clasp.
