Marathon
Founded in 1939 in Montreal by Morris Wein (with roots dating to the Weinstrum Watch Company of 1904), Marathon Watches is a family-owned Canadian brand committed to rugged precision. From its first military contracts during WWII in 1941, it evolved into one of the few watchmakers that still supplies timepieces built to military-specs for the US & Canadian armed forces. Every Marathon timepiece is designed with harsh-environment performance in mind: Swiss-made in La Chaux-de-Fonds, built to MIL-PRF-46374G standard, with tritium-tube illumination, shock and water resistance.
