The Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope Bauhaus 027/4409.02 is a tribute you can read at a glance. Its black PVD case, matt black dial and red details were inspired by the red doors of the Bauhaus building in Dessau, where Max Bill studied before designing for Junghans.
Turn it over and a partly transparent Bauhaus motif on the case back opens small windows onto the J880.2 automatic chronograph, which offers up to 48 hours of reserve. The hour and minute hands have red inlays, the seconds hand a red tip, and the 40mm case keeps the slim family profile.
