The Mido Baroncelli Heritage Lady M027.207.11.016.00 is proof that a dress watch can be thin, light and still mechanical. Its 33mm steel case measures only about 7.2mm in height, so it disappears under a sleeve, and diamond hour markers on a white dial make it quietly special.

Mido created the Baroncelli Heritage in 2017 around the idea of slimness and purity. The double-sided hands are sandblasted on one face and diamond-cut on the other, so they flash as they catch the light, and the grained white dial carries a neat date window at 3 o'clock. The rounded forms are inspired by Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, whose curving arcades give the whole collection its graceful feel.

The movement is Mido's Caliber 1192, based on the slim ETA 2892-A2, with a power reserve of around 42 hours. Turn the watch over and the sapphire caseback reveals blued screws and a rotor decorated with Geneva stripes.
