The Maurice Lacroix AIKON #tide in light green with a white strap is one of the gem-set versions of the series. Small diamonds mark the hours on a soft green dial, adding a touch of sparkle to a watch made from recovered ocean plastic.
The 40mm case, bezel, crown and buckle are all made from #tide, an upcycled composite of ocean-bound plastic and glass fiber, with about 17 bottles recovered for each watch. The design keeps the six-claw bezel of the AIKON, which comes from the brand's 1990s Calypso. The Vagues du Jura dial pattern brings in a wave motif, and Swiss quartz keeps it simple to own. The white strap swaps out without tools if you want a change.
