Blue and steel is a classic sports watch pairing, and the Maurice Lacroix AIKON Quartz Chronograph 42mm does it well. The dark blue sun-brushed dial shines in sunlight and goes almost black in the shade, with rhodium counter rings bringing extra polish.
Maurice Lacroix based the AIKON on its own Calypso from the 1990s, and the six-claw bezel is the link between them. Add a chronograph that reads to a tenth of a second, a quick-change bracelet and 100m of water resistance, and you get a watch that does a lot without a high cost of ownership, thanks to Swiss quartz. The bracelet comes off without tools, so it's easy to switch to a strap.
