Marathon's Arctic Red Maple GSAR on rubber is a flag-bearer for anyone who dives, paddles or fishes north of the 49th parallel. Reference WW194006SS-1630 sets the 41mm Swiss automatic on a black rubber strap, with a white Arctic dial carrying a red maple leaf and an orange tritium tube at 12 o'clock.

The rubber strap gives this edition a sportier feel than the bracelet version and makes it ready for the water straight away, while the black strap frames the white dial and red leaf boldly. Underneath, it is the most storied model in Marathon's search and rescue family: a 316L case rated to 300 meters, a screw-down crown flanked by guards, a sapphire crystal, and a unidirectional bezel oversized for gloved hands.

Legibility is a strength. The Arctic dial was developed for bright light and snow, and tritium gas tubes on the markers and all hands handle the dark, with the orange tube at 12 making it easy to orient the dial at night. A Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic with Incabloc shock protection drives the hands, and an engraved caseback completes the package.
