CASE & STRAP
The Oyster case of the Rolex watch is made of oystersteel, 41 mm in diameter. The case is a monobloc middle case with a screw-down case back and winding crown. The bezel is unidirectional and rotatable, and is graduated in 60 minutes. The bezel insert is made of Cerachrom, a scratch-resistant ceramic. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire, and the cyclops lens is over the date. The watch is waterproof to 300 metres / 1,000 feet.
The Rolex 3235 is a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement that is extremely precise, with a tolerance of +/- 2 seconds per day. It features a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers for superior accuracy and durability. The movement is also bidirectional, meaning it winds itself in both directions, making it extremely easy to keep running. It has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, meaning it can go for days without being wound.
